Our History
Justin Querze believed in building this dream and began a college career with that focus in mind. He attended the University of New Hampshire, studying in Horticultural Technology and Civil Technical Engineering a received a degree in 2009. His vision for the business began to take a major step forward with his advanced education that allowed for him to develop into much more than just a "local maintenance business. While he attended school he continued to run his business by driving home every weekend. After Justin had graduated from the University of New Hampshire he began to gain many more land related construction projects. He began to focus more on lawn and irrigation installations as well as smaller hardscape projects (walkways and patios). He also invested into a small garden center start-up that lasted only a short season as a result of the low economy of 2009.
In 2010 Justin decided to make a huge overhaul with his business after realizing that becoming a "large" business would hinder his dream of building a business with high quality products. He wanted to maintain his image of perfect work and stunning aspects. Having many crews and employees would limit his ability to monitor true perfection with his work and in order to maintain this dream he had to start developing a new system. He studie the business of landscape and hardscape to the smallest details, focusing on every aspect. By constantly researching and developing systematic plans he was able to establish the key component that would ultimately send his business in the direction he always dreamt. He needed to stop f ocusing on the 'quantity' of work they produced and start focusing on the 'quality' of the work they produced. So he decided to turn his business into something beyond the regularities and decided to cut out the landscape side of his business to solely focus on Stonework and Hardscapes.
In 2011 Justin turned Royal Landscape into Royal Stoneworks, and from this point forward he would focus highly on the specialization of stone masonry. Using his engineering and horticultural background he was able to learn, study, research and develop a business that drastically believes in the highest quality of stone art. He believes that every single job is particular in its own way and that the engineering and artistic design of each ob is of the utmost importance. The jobs they produce today are beyond the expectations of the typical hardcape installation. They not only focus or the design and installation aspects, but also maintain and continuously develop the aspects that allow them to stand above all others in the industry.
They believe firmly on creating new systems and methods and aim to one day change the industry to restore the beauty of true Stone Art. Royal Stoneworks was built on the dream of creating true art. Art that encompasses all aspects of life. The flow of the land, colors, textures, and design allow for their work to stand out. Justin Querze is building this business in the hopes to create such amazing art that one day his legacy can truly be "written in stone". Stonework has been around for thousands of years and Royal Stoneworks is dedicated to make this tradition continue with the beauty and elegance in all of their stonework.
